Applicants will need to be educated to degree level

Have experience of managing projects involving the integration of electronic, mechanical and hydraulic test systems.
Experience and in-depth knowledge of mechanical aerospace qualification test requirements, test programmes and processes.
Must be dedicated, motivated, and must be a strong man manager with excellent administrative and organisational skills, and able to work under pressure.
Need someone who has the experience of track record of leading teams of engineers in the development, build and use of test equipments.

The role
The reorganisation of the engineering team into military and commercial sectors has provided an opportunity for the role of Lab Manager, with responsibility for both the Development and the existing Test Equipment and reports to Director of Execution within the military sector.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Have overall ultimate responsibility for the running of the Test Equipment and Development Departments including (but not limited to);
Senior Leadership for the Test Equipment & Development Teams
Project Management and on time delivery for new rig and qualification test programmes
Resource Management
Test Rig Budget Control and administration
Responsibility for the support and maintenance of existing test facilities
Responsibility for the transfer of test equipment
