Will need SC clearance basic Unix. Telelogic DOORS, software development EXPERIENCE
Must have proven technical capabilities in the field of Security Engineering
Extensive practical experience, ideally in Ground Systems.
Need to be able to demonstrate a thorough systems engineering approach, ranging from initial requirements analysis through to the verification of technical specifications of delivered and accepted security systems and products.
Execution of Test Campaigns.
Coordination of the test team for test runs.
Technical leading and contribution to the development of test cases.
Organisation of the configuration of the applications/network as required.
Update and maintenance of test procedures, test data and tools.
Supporting suppliers and managers with new installations of software and/or hardware
The role
An experienced security engineer is required to work in the ground systems group within ENS.  The role involves being responsible for the integration and verification of a Key Management Facility for the Galileo satellites control centre.
The candidate must have proven technical capabilities in the field of Security Engineering with extensive practical experience, ideally in Ground Systems. They will need to be able to demonstrate a thorough systems engineering approach, ranging from initial requirements analysis through to the verification of technical specifications of delivered and accepted security systems and products.
This role involves varied tasks including:
Execution of Test Campaigns.
Coordination of the test team for test runs.
Technical leading and contribution to the development of test cases.
Organisation of the configuration of the applications/network as required.
Responsibility for the raising of anomaly reports.
Supporting Non-Conformance Review Boards.
Reporting to the AIV Manager.
Responsibility for update and maintenance of test procedures, test data and tools.
Supporting suppliers and the site manager with new installations of software and/or hardware
As an experienced engineer the candidate must have customer facing abilities, as the position entails technical exchanges and meetings with the European Space Agency (ESA), System Prime and Subcontractors and National Experts.  The role is based in Germany but will also require significant time to be spent in Italy. The candidate must also be willing to travel, for short durations, to other locations within Europe and to visit selected global TT&C station sites.
